At first: darker and bolder
Permanent makeup can look darker and more intense in the first days than it will once healed. That's expected, and it softens as the skin settles.
Then: flaking, dryness, fading
Light flaking and dryness are a normal part of healing, and the colour can look like it's fading while it does. Give it time before you judge the result.
Don't pick
However tempting, leave the flakes alone and let them come away on their own. Picking can take pigment with it.
Don't rush it
Healing is a process, not a moment. Follow your artist's aftercare instructions, and ask them about a follow-up once it has settled.
